Parents and students share responsibility with the school district for student learning.  Keeping up-to-date on the latest information from around the School District is easy. Below are several ways to stay informed:


    Board of Education MeetingsAttend monthly meetings of the Board of Education. Meetings usually fall on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (with a few exceptions). The meeting dates and locations are posted at Meeting agendas are published at least 48 hours prior to each meeting.

        Public Email List: Sign up for our public email list. Click on the Welcome page of this website and go to the right-hand corner to enter your email address.

          SchoolReach Calls/Emails/TextsParents of current students - make sure your contact information, including telephone and email addresses are accurate in Skyward. We upload this information each night so it is always current for SchoolMessenger calls. If you need to make corrections or would like to "Opt In" to receive texts, please contact your child’s school. 

            School Newsletters & Announcements: Sign up for the email newsletters from BRIJHS via the school secretary.  Daily announcements at BRHS and BRIJHS are posted on the website. Schneider School sends their newsletter home to all PreK through 3rd grade students on the back of the lunch menu each month and posts it on the school website. 

              PIE/Boosters:  Become active in Partner’s in Education (PIE) for grades PreK-6, Jr. High Boosters for grades 7-8, BRHS Boosters for grades 9-12, and BRHS Parent Advisory Committee. Groups usually meet each month. Volunteers are always welcome and needed.

              MediaLocal newspapers and radio stations provide coverage of school-related events and information.
