BRHS Graduation is Sunday, May 31st @ 2pm!!   






     Friday, May 22nd         




For everyone who is interested in Cheerleading, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 26th at 3:15 in the Library.  Parents are also welcome to attend this meeting.


The Clinton YMCA is offering Red Cross Lifeguarding classes this summer.  All of the information is available in the HS office.


There is information in the office for any student interested in summer youth golf camps presented by PGA Professional Scott Gerard.  There is also information for high school golf team members and prospective team members regarding summer golf team activities.


BRHS Spring Sports Awards night will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd at 7pm.


The Blue Ridge softball team lost to Hartsburg-Emden last night 8 to 1 in the regional tournament.  The Lady Knights end their season with a 13 and 17 record.  Congratulations on a great season ladies!


Ben Williamson recorded 7 of the final 9 outs via the strikeout as BRHS Baseball team upped its record to 24-8 with a 5-2 victory over Fisher in Mt. Pulaski.  Cory Jayne went 2-3 with 3 runs scored.  Caleb and Isaac Trotter each had RBI doubles, while Alec Lyle added 2 RBI’s.  Next up is LeRoy at 10:00 TOMORROW for the regional championship.  Good Luck Knights!


Hot Lunch menu for today is: Sloppy Joes or Grilled Chicken or Cheeseburger w/bun, Sweet Potato Fries, Juice, Apple Slices and Side Salad


There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 26th to celebrate Memorial Day.  Thank you to all veterans for your service to our country!

Please remember to check on your family lunch account balances often. When the lunch account balance is under $10, you'll start receiving emails or letters from the office with a reminder.   If your family lunch account is negative your student will be receiving a cheese sandwich, fruit and milk in the lunch line.  Please call Mrs. Hardesty at the HS for any questions...  928-2622



Seniors – please remember to pay all of the fees and fines listed on the bulletin boards or you will not be graduating!!  Any fees owed after May 8thwill need to be paid in CASH!  No checks will be accepted after that date.

 Board of Education Meetings: Attend monthly meetings of the Board of Education. Meetings usually fall on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (with a few exceptions). The meeting dates and locations are posted at www.blueridge18.org. Meeting agendas are published at least 48 hours prior to each meeting.

SchoolReach Calls/Emails: Parents of current students - make sure your contact information, including telephone and email addresses are accurate in Skyward. We upload this information each night so it is always current for SchoolReach calls. If you need to make corrections, contact your child’s school.  (Note: beginning in August 2015 SchoolReach will be known as SchoolMessenger.)

SchoolReach Text Message List: For select information we send out text messages (snow days, monthly superintendent’s message). If you would like to be included on this list you have to “Opt in” by notifying your child’s school.

Media: Local newspapers and radio stations provide coverage of school-related events and information.

PIE/Boosters:  Become active in Partner’s in Education (PIE) for grades PreK-6, Jr. High Boosters for grades 7-8, BRHS Boosters for grades 9-12, and BRHS Parent Advisory Committee. Groups usually meet each month. Volunteers are always welcome and needed.
