Welcome to Pre-Kindergarten/ECSE!

PreK is a fully grant funded program offered at no cost to Blue Ridge School District children who are at-risk for school difficulty.  Children in the PreK program must be 3 or 4 years old on or after September 1.  Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) is provided for eligible children with special needs on their 3rd birthday. Blue Ridge PreK and ECSE are child centered programs that allows children to develop needed social and pre-academic skills to build a solid foundation for future school success.  To determine if your child is eligible to participate in the PreK or ECSE programs, call 309-928-2611 to arrange for your child to participate in a screening.  Screenings are held throughout the year.
