Tyler Malone has been selected by the Blue Ridge High School faculty as this year's recipient of the Good Citizenship Award from the Sons of the American Revolution. Tyler is the son of Mr. & Mrs. David Malone of rural Farmer City. He will be recognized at this year's Honors Night at BRHS on May 6. Tyler plans to attend Illinois State University next fall where he will major in mathematics.

Lauren Arteman has been selected by the Blue Ridge High School faculty as this year's recipient of the Good Citizen Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution. Lauren is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Arteman of Bellflower. Lauren will have the opportunity to compete for scholarships and will be recognized later in the year. Lauren hopes to attend Purdue University after high school and major in an agriculture related field.
KNIGHT CARDS
Again this year Blue Ridge High School is rewarding students with "Knight Cards". These cards are given to students each quarter based on their academic performance, discipline, and attendance. The cards can be used for admission to a number of school events, for homework passes for certain homework assignments, and to receive rewards by being selected as a "daily winner" where they will be able to pick from a variety of prizes which have been donated by businesses in the area. Those businesses which have donated to the Knight Card program are:
