Superintendent

A message from Mrs. Wilson:

I've been with Blue Ridge CUSD 18 since 2000 - Schneider Principal for 10 years before becoming Superintendent in 2010. Prior to coming to Blue Ridge I was school psychologist in Tolono Unit 7 and Villa Park-Lombard District 45. We moved from the suburbs back to central Illinois to be with family. My Dad's side of the family has roots in the Blue Ridge area, having farmed in Mansfield, Parnell and Bellflower. My grandmother worked in the cafeteria in Mansfield and my grandfather was a custodian at the old Franklin School in Farmer City.

I have been married to David since 1990 and we have two adult daughters, Lane and Emily, who graduated from Blue Ridge High School. David teaches biology and chemistry at Parkland College - and can frequently be found golfing at Woodlawn Country Club.  I love to garden and enjoy volunteering with community projects. We attend Grace Church in Mahomet. Blue Ridge has been a wonderful place to raise our family and we look forward to a bright future for our community!
