HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention Junior class officers --- your meeting with Jostens is TODAY at 12:00 in the office!
Attention all Soccer players – please return your soccer uniforms to Mrs. Flannell today or Friday!
Student Council will have a meeting TODAY during lunch in the Art room. We will be voting for officers for next year. We are also having an end of the year celebration meeting, so all members should attend.
Book Club will meet TODAY in the HS library during lunch.
All library books are due back TOMORROW! If they do not get turned in, you will have to pay for the book!
There will be a soccer meeting for all interested TOMORROW at 12:16 in the new gym.
For those interested in joining the NEW Shooting Club at school, there will be a meeting TOMORROW with Mrs. Danner-Duncan and Coach Miles in the library at 12:30 pm during lunch.
Summer Volleyball camp forms are available from Coach Miles. Please return by this FRIDAY!
Summer fieldwork applications are with Mrs. Whitehouse and the main office. Students who are 14 years old and older by July 1st can apply. This is an opportunity through Advance Services Inc. and Syngenta in Clinton. Student workers will be pollinating fields just east of Wapella. The season starts around July 1st and lasts for about 4-6 weeks. Wages start at $11 per hour. There is an open house for more information on May 15th from 9 am - 6pm. See Mrs. Whitehouse if you have questions.3
All students interested in playing football, there is a meeting this Saturday, May 11th at 5pm in the HS weight room. We will discuss summer practice dates and expectations for the upcoming season. Parents are welcome to attend.
Thespian Troupe awards night are Monday, 5/13 at 7pm in the old gym.
The Spring Band Pops concert will be held on Tuesday, 5/14 at 7:30pm in the old gym.
Volleyball open gym will be held Wednesday, 5/15 from 3:30-5pm in the new gym.
Cheer tryout open gym and instruction will be held May 20th thru 22nd from 3:30-5 in the New Gym. Cheer tryouts will be on May 23rd, starting at 3:30 and will be held in the new gym. Sign up in the Unit Office!!
The last day to order this year’s yearbook is May 31st! See Ms. Thacker to order!
Seniors-
These are some reminders for next week . . .
· Check the Commons bulletin board for your owed fees and fines. Please pay by CASH in the office before 5/17, graduation practice day!
· Senior Chrome Book check in will be on 5/14, 5/15 and 5/15 from 7:45 to 8:30 in the office.
· Your chrome book must be charged and returned with the case in person by you.
· Friday morning before graduation practice is the last day for any saved work to not be deleted from your chrome book! If you wish to save it, back it up to your thumb drive otherwise it’ll be gone, forever!
· Senior student emails will be active until 6/1… then your school email accounts will be deactivated!

Today the Girls Track team competes in the Sectional Meet—weather permitting. Please excuse the girls track team at 1:45pm today for their sectional meet @ GCMS.
The Varsity Baseball team plays at Argenta-Oreana with a 4:30 start time. Teachers, please dismiss the Baseball players at 2:35 TODAY.
The Varsity Softball team plays Okaw
Valley at HOME at 4:30. Go Knights!
After school detentions TODAY are in the office. Lunch detentions are in the office TODAY.
