HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
for Tuesday, May 14th
The Spring Band Pops concert will be held TONIGHT at 7:30pm in the old gym.
Volleyball open gym is Wednesday from 3:30-5pm in the new gym.
Wednesday there will be a meeting for all girls Basketball players for next year after school in the old gym.
Cheer tryout open gym and instruction will be held May 20th thru 22nd from 3:30-5 in the New Gym. Cheer tryouts will be on May 23rd, starting at 3:30 and will be held in the new gym. Sign up in the Unit Office!!
Please turn in all girls track uniforms and warm-ups to Coach Miles as soon as possible.
The last day to order this year’s yearbook is May 31st! See Ms. Thacker to order!
Seniors-
· see the commons bulletin board for your owed fees and fines. Please pay by CASH in the office before 5/17, graduation practice day!
· Senior Chrome Book check in will be on 5/15 and 5/16 from 7:45 to 8:30 in the office.
· Your chrome book must be charged and returned with the case in person by you.
· Friday morning before graduation practice is the last day for any saved work to not be deleted from your chrome book! If you wish to save it, back it up to your thumb drive otherwise it’ll be gone!
· Senior student emails will be active until June 1st. Then your school email accounts will be deactivated!
· Seniors should come dressed for graduation practice on Friday at 10am SHARP! Bring your gown, cap, stole and tassel to put on when you get here.
· Plans changed and there will be a Senior luncheon on Friday after graduation practice at Weedman Park.
Today is the Senior’s last day! Seniors, be sure and clean out your lockers and take all of your belongings. Senior finals begin Thursday and Friday at 8:30 in the Commons.
Congratulations Seniors! Graduation is on Sunday at 2pm! All seniors need to be in the Library on Sunday at 1:15.
Track athletes see Mrs. Raines in the library for your grandparent’s pictures.
At the News Gazette Honor Roll Meet yesterday Macey Hamm placed 3rd in the 3200 and Katie Bowns 4th in the 3200. Other notables include Polly Reynolds placing 7th in the TJ while Jenna Mozingo placed 8th in both hurdle events respectively.
The boys track team also competed in the News Gazette Honor Roll Meet last night. Gavin Raines cleared 6-1 in High Jump to place 5th. This was Gavin's 4th time this year clearing state qualifying height. The 4x800 meter relay team consisting of Gavin Raines, Mitchell Houser, Joey Leidner, and "Ty Ty" Tyler Maxwell BROKE the school record with a time of 8:41.54! Way to go Knights!!
After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Flannell. Lunch detentions are in the office today.
