HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Cheer tryout open gym and instruction is TODAY thru 22nd from 3:30-5 in the new gym. Cheer tryouts will be on May 23rd, starting at 3:30 and will be held in the new gym. Sign up in the Unit Office!!
Attention all girls track members, please turn in uniforms and warm-ups to Coach Miles this week.
All girls Softball uniforms should be turned into the office this week.
See Mrs. Raines in the Library for your Spring Sports Banquet tickets. They are $6 for a Taco Bar dinner. Athletes and coaches are free. Dinner starts at 6pm on May 29th.
Anyone interested in playing soccer next year who did not attend the previous meeting, please stop by room 202 and pick up paperwork from Mrs. Flannell ASAP!
Anyone interested in playing soccer and can attend the Hoopeston tournament in July needs to turn in the paperwork to Mrs. Flannell by May 30th.
Anyone who played soccer last fall and has not already done so, please turn in your uniform ASAP to Mrs. Flannell.

Attention Boys track team members, please return your uniforms to Coach Sawyer this week!
On Friday, the boys track team competed in the Sectional meet at St. Joseph-Ogden. Tyler Maxwell in the 800, Trevor Salmi in the 1600, Dawson Raines in the shot put, Mitchell Houser in the 400, Aiden Soliday in the 200, the 4x800 and 4x400 all had big personal records! Other highlights include: Kolby Kramer finished 8th in the discus. Cody Phillips finished 4th in the pole vault. The 4x800 meter relay team of Gavin Raines, Joey Leidner, Mitchell Houser and Tyler Maxwell broke the school record again with a time of 8:40.00, finishing 4th in the event. The 4x400 meter relay team of Gain Raines, Mitchell Houser, Joey Leidner, and Hank Mitchell finished in 8th place with a time of 3:42.30. Senior Gavin Raines finished in 3rd place in the high jump qualifying him for the state track meet! Gavin will compete on Thursday at EIU in Charleston! Way to go Knights!
After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Dowling.
