HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

For Thursday, September 5th

Please remember that the North door by the Unit office is only open from 8:05 to 8:20.   Please come in the circle drive door or the Ag door behind the school before that time.

There will be a meeting for Student Council members TODAY during lunch in Ms. Loop's room 208.

Knight Buddies program is back!!  This program matches high school students with an elementary student.  The high school student must be in academically good standing, have a positive influence and be willing to meet with their buddy once per week.  It is also important that you have a study hall to accommodate for this commitment.  If you are interested in being a Knight Buddy, please sign up in the library.  Sign-ups are due by September 13th.  Those selected will be notified of the next steps by September 20th with Mrs. Coy.

If you did not get a chrome book case at the beginning of the year, we now have them available!  Please come down to Mr. Kramer’s office to get one for your chrome book!

Key Club will be having a meeting FRIDAY during lunch in Mrs. Davis' room.  We have several great activities already planned.   Come join us and give us some new ideas!

The Farmer City Haunted Forest is looking for volunteers for their 2-weekend event this year:  October 18th and 19th and October 25th and 26th.  There are lots of ways to be involved and earn community service hours and a great group project to help with in the community!  See Mrs. Whitehouse or email fchauntedforest@gmail.com for more information.

Attention College-Bound Juniors and Seniors:  Many universities have open houses and visit days on Saturdays and days that we do not have school.  Plan ahead and use your days off wisely!  There are many opportunities on Oct 11th and Oct 14th!

The Girls Golf team split a 3 way match yesterday afternoon against Tri-Valley and Fieldcrest in Bloomington.  The girls lost to Tri-Valley with Alyvia Bernard shooting a 43.
