Please remember turn in the Evacuation Drill form to the Office by Monday, October 7th!

If you haven’t registered your car and license plate with the office, please do so today.  Also, if you do not want your vehicle windows painted by the Boosters on Friday, please let the office know either today!!!

It's fall and all things pumpkin! Blue Ridge FFA has pumpkins for sale in the Ag Room! We have a few smaller ones for $3 and many large ones for $5. Pumpkins will be sold until October 27th so get them while they are here! 

The University of Illinois admissions representative will be here during 5th hour TODAY.  Interested juniors and seniors should get a pass from Mrs. Whitehouse.

All football players that are participating in the cheerleading dance should meet immediately after school today in the new gym to practice.

Junior class:  please go to the Ag room during lunch to practice line dancing!

Students have until 4:00 today to finish the Hallway decorations and until 9:00 pm  TONIGHT to finish float building.  Please remind the wagon drivers that floats need to be here tomorrow by NOON in order to be judged.  The Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:00 tomorrow.  Anyone who would like to have an entry in the parade, but has not registered yet, needs to let Ms. Loop know TODAY.


Any student interested in a career in computer science and cyber security should see Mrs. Whitehouse for information about an awesome workshop on Saturday, October 19th.


Which pumpkin do you like the best?  Remember to show us by bringing your quarters, dimes, nickels, or pennies to lunch and vote today and tomorrow.  Be a hero, save a life, and only spend 50 cents!

The Homecoming “All You Can Tacos” will be held after the Homecoming Parade on Friday, Oct. 4th at the American Legion from 3:30 – 6:30pm.  Tickets are $9 for Adults and $5 for Students!  See any band member to purchase tickets.


The Garden House in Farmer City is donating $1 to the BRHS Boosters for every Homecoming corsage ordered for your Homecoming date on Saturday!  Call 928-5454 to place your order!


Farmer City Baseball is having a community day at Monical’s Pizza on Monday, October 14th.  Monical’s will donate 20% or your bill to the organization.  Flyers are in the office if you need one!

Students interested in learning more about college and career options are encouraged to make an appointment with Mrs. Coy. It’s important for all Seniors to start acting on your college and career plans. Every college has a different deadline, so be sure to check with your college choices and see when is the right time to apply. You should aim to apply by Nov 1st for an early college decision. Also, mark your calendars as FASFA is LIVE NOW which is when students should plan to apply. Mrs. Coy is available to help you in the library on Wednesdays and Fridays for any assistance you may need. She also has FREE college swag items, so stop by her office to get yours!

TODAY  is Western Day - After 2:20 there will be a Line Dance Competition in the Old Gym!

Friday is Spirit Day with Blue and Silver for everyone!

Homecoming Pep Rally will be held at 1pm TOMORROW with the Homecoming Parade at 2pm.

Today the Boys Golf Team plays in the Blue Ridge Quad and the Girls Golf team plays at Monticello both beginning at 4:00.  The Soccer team plays at Mt. Pulaski beginning at 4:30.  The Volleyball Team plays at Shiloh with the Junior Varsity beginning at 6:00 and the Varsity shortly after. Go Knights!

Lunch detentions will be with Mrs. Whitehouse TODAY.  After school detentions are with Mr. Miles in the new gym.

 Today’s lunch menu is: Orange Chicken or Chicken Patty w/bun

 Chef Salads are available daily.
