HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Pride Club will meet at lunch in Mrs. Whitehouse's office today!  

Please remember turn in the Evacuation Drill form to the office by Monday!

Blue Ridge FFA has pumpkins for sale in the Ag Room! We have a few smaller ones for $3 and many large ones for $5. Pumpkins will be sold until October 27th so get them while they are here! 

Floats need to be here TODAY by NOON in order to be judged.  The Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:00. 

 

Any student interested in a career in computer science and cyber security should see Mrs. Whitehouse for information about an awesome workshop on Saturday, October 19th.

 

Which pumpkin do you like the best?  Remember to show us by bringing your quarters, dimes, nickels, or pennies to lunch and vote today.  This is your last day until lunch to be a hero and save a life for a great cause!

The Homecoming “All You Can Tacos” will be held after the Homecoming Parade TONIGHT at the  American Legion from 3:30 – 6:30pm.  Tickets are $9 for Adults and $5 for Students!  You can purchase the tickets at the Legion!!

 

EIU will be visiting Tuesday October 8th during seventh hour, please see Mrs. Coy or Mrs. Whitehouse for a pass if you are interested in attending. 

Farmer City Baseball is having a community day at Monical’s Pizza on Monday, October 14th.  Monical’s will donate 20% or your bill to the organization.  Flyers are in the office if you need one!

 

The Farmer City Haunted Forest will be carving pumpkins on three different days and we invite you to help us!  Dates are: October 15th - Starting at 4:30 p.m. 

October 16th - Starting at 4:30 p.m. 

October 17th  - Starting at 4:30 p.m.

Blue Ridge Soccer team defeated Mt. Pulaski last night 8 to 1.  1st half scoring was Brenden Flannell assisted by Mitchel Houser. 2nd half scoring was Brenden Flannell 4 goals with one assisted by Austin Hobbs, Mitchell Houser with 1 unassisted goal and Anthony Thompson with 2 goals both unassisted.  Jayden Dalton had 1 save.  Way to go Knights!

 

TODAY is Spirit Day with a Pep Rally at 1pm.  The Homecoming Parade begins at 2pm.

Congrats to the Varsity Volleyball team on a thrilling LPC victory at Shiloh last night vs. Tri-County 25-23, 25-22 to improve their overall record to 22-5 (7-1 LPC).  The JV lost a close 3 set match by only two points in the third set to drop their record to 13-5 overall.  Leading the Varsity Lady Knights was Gracie Shaffer with 26 assists followed by Nadia Beadle with 10 kills and 9 digs; Meah Carter with 5 kills, 2 blocks and 2 aces and Jenna Mozingo with 10 digs.  Way to go Knights!

The Girls Golf team split a 3-way match yesterday in Monticello.  Ashlyn Voyles and Macy Baird lead the way followed closely by Alyvia Bernard.

The Boys Golf team defeated Heyworth, Judah Christian, and Tri-Point.  Aaron Jayne led with a 41 followed by Wyatt Summers.

The Football Homecoming game is HOME TONIGHT vs. LSA.  Come on out and cheer for a Victory!
