HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
for Thursday, October 10th
Blue Ridge FFA has pumpkins for sale in the Ag Room! We have a few smaller ones for $3 and many large ones for $5. Pumpkins will be sold until October 27th so get them while they are here!
Any student interested in a career in computer science and cyber security should see Mrs. Whitehouse for information about an awesome workshop on Saturday, October 19th.
Farmer City Baseball is having a community day at Monical’s Pizza next Monday, October 14th. Monical’s will donate 20% or your bill to the organization. Flyers are in the office if you need one!
There will be a Boys Basketball meeting at lunch on Wednesday, Oct. 16th in the new gym.
Student Council meeting during lunch on Thursday 10/17 in Ms. Loop’s room.
There will be re-tryouts for the basketball cheer squad. Anyone is welcome to come and see what it is all about. Open gym and instruction will be held Oct 22 and 23 from 7-8 am and also 3:30-4:30 pm in the old gym and the tryout will be held on Oct 24, starting right after school. See Coach Kristi with any questions.
The Farmer City Haunted Forest will be carving pumpkins on three different days and we invite you to help us next week! Dates are: October 15th - Starting at 4:30 p.m.
October 16th - Starting at 4:30 p.m.
October 17th - Starting at 4:30 p.m.

In Blue Ridge Soccer last night against Fisher, it was a tie, 1 to 1.
1st half scoring was by Victor Reynolds, unassisted and 2nd half scoring was by Fisher's Ethan Kasper. Jayden Dalton had 7 saves.
Today the Volleyball Team plays Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond (ALAH) in the
Consolation Championship of the Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament in Kansas, Illinois
beginning at 5:00. Good Luck Lady Knights!
Friday night, the football team plays Cerro Gordo-Bement at HOME starting at 7pm. Go Knights!
On Saturday, the Soccer team will play in the 1st game of Regionals here at Blue Ridge. Everyone please come out and support our Knights!
After school detentions will be carried over to next Monday.
We’ll observe the 11:45 dismissal schedule today, then have lunch then go back to 8th hour and begin the evacuation drill.
Today’s lunch menu is: Pizza and side salad
The Commons snacks will not be open today and will resume on Tuesday.
