HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
for Friday, October 18th
Blue Ridge FFA still has a few pumpkins for sale $3 for the small ones and $5 for the bigger ones. Pumpkins will be sold until October 27th or until they are gone!!
If you did not make the informational meeting for basketball cheer this morning, please see Coach Kristi anytime today in the unit office.
TODAY will be a Girls Basketball meeting in the new gym at 12:35. All girls interested or that might be interested in playing, please attend!
TODAY will be a Boys Basketball meeting at lunch for those interested in the new gym at 12:30.
Key Club members will have a meeting in Mrs. Davis’ room during lunch TODAY!
McKendree University will be visiting Blue Ridge Thursday, October 24th at 9:00 am during second hour. Please see Mrs. Coy or Mrs. Whitehouse for a pass.
Illinois Wesleyan and Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology will also be visiting in November. Keep an eye on the college and career board next to the library for more important dates and information.
The October FFA Meeting will be October 24th with committees meeting at 6:30 and the Chapter meeting at 7pm. Wear an FFA Shirt for the Trick or Treat for Hunger activity after the meeting.
There will be re-tryouts for the basketball cheer squad next week. Open gym and instruction will be held Oct 22 and 23 from 7-8 am and also 3:30-4:30 pm in the old gym and the tryout will be held on Oct 24, starting right after school. See Coach Kristi with any questions.
The NEW Farmers Restaurant in Farmer City is hiring nighttime waiters and waitresses. If you are interested, please apply in person at the restaurant!
