Varsity volleyball uniforms are due from Willa Manuel. Please turn them in to Mr. Miles.

 

Attention Seniors:  please stop in the office to sign off on your graduation diploma name spelling.

 

Thank you to everyone that donated blood on Friday.  29 units of blood were donated!

Western Illinois University college rep will be here Tuesday. Get your passes from Mrs. Coy or Mrs. Whitehouse today!!

 

The Fall Sports Banquet will be on Tuesday beginning at 6:00 in the Old Gym.

 

The next FFA meeting is Wednesday with committee meetings at 6:30 and the chapter meeting at 7. Bring a dish to share for our FFA Thanksgiving meal and get ready for our annual Turkey Bowling! 

 

Thursday is the annual Thanksgiving luncheon in the old gym.  Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and all the fixin’s will be available that day!  No other food or extra’s will be offered.  Please bring your student ID’s with you for faster check out!

 

The Jostens rep will be here to deliver your class jewelry on FRIDAY, December 6th before school.

You may bring cash or check that day or pay online prior to delivery day using the postcard and emailed invoice. Students on the JPAY Payment Plan in good standing will receive their ring!

Any student may place an order for a class ring that day, or use this day as a service day to get your class ring repaired or resized. Please contact Jostens with any questions.

 

The Farmer City Christmas Parade will be Sunday, November 24th beginning at 2:00 beginning at the fairgrounds, through Main Street.

 

At the 7th annual Mike Hendricks Varsity Scholastic Bowl Invitational on Saturday the host Knights went a respectable 4-3 on the day defeating Tri-Point, Deland-Weldon, LeRoy and Henry while losing to Durand, Warrensburg-Latham and a close match to Roanoke-Benson.  Leading the Knights in toss-ups was Mitchell Houser with 23 followed by Nadia Beadle with 19, Hutchence Partlow with 16, Josephine Aldrich with 8  and Abby Johnson and Sammi Boogren with 5 each.  Thanks to all the staff who worked the tournament to help it run smoothly.   

 

The Girls Basketball Team opens their season at HOME TONIGHT vs. Decatur Christian starting at 6:00 pm.

 

After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Lagle.  Tuesday lunch detentions are with Mrs. Whitehouse and Thursday with Ms. Miller.
