for Thursday, November 21st

 

Attention Seniors:  please stop in the office to sign off on your graduation diploma name spelling.

 

Key Club will have a meeting TODAY during lunch.  New activities to talk about and sign up for.

 

The Farmer City Christmas Parade will be Sunday, November 24th beginning at 2:00 beginning at the fairgrounds.

 

Come to the library and join us FRIDAY for a “Book Party”!  Bring your favorite book and your lunch and we’ll talk about what you’re are reading!  See Mrs. Raines in the library for more information.

 

There will be a brief meeting for those interested in Boys Track and Field on Monday in the Commons at 3:15 after school.  The meeting will introduce the new coach, discuss pre-season workouts and determine interest in adding indoor meets to the season.  If you cannot make the meeting, stop by Mr. Kramer’s office as soon as possible.

 

Last night at the Lincoln Prairie All Conference Volleyball meeting in Kansas, Blue Ridge was represented well.  In the 12-team L.P.C. volleyball conference, Freshman Gracie Shaffer was named along with six other players to the first team all-conference for volleyball and only one of four players to receive a unanimous selection.  With only seven selections for second team all-conference, Sophomore Nadia Beadle was recognized from Blue Ridge as a part of the second team all-conference for volleyball.  Way to go Lady Knights!

Congratulations to Kaleb Southern and Henry Mitchell for being selected to serve as the FFA Plot Managers along with Jaton Shaffer. 

 

Blue Ridge FFA is selling digital discount cards that have offers to over 340,000 local and national businesses along with travel discounts. Cards are $10 and can be purchased from any FFA member. The last day to purchase is December 12th.

The Jostens rep will be here to deliver your class jewelry on FRIDAY, December 6th before school.

You may bring cash or check that day or pay online prior to delivery day using the postcard and emailed invoice. Students on the JPAY Payment Plan in good standing will receive their ring!

Any student may place an order for a class ring that day, or use this day as a service day to get your class ring repaired or resized. Please contact Jostens with any questions.

 

After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Lagle.  There is no lunch detentions today.  Lunch detentions will resume next Tuesday.

 

TODAY is the annual Thanksgiving luncheon in the old gym.  Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and all the fixin’s will be available!  No other food or extra’s will be offered and the concession stand in the commons will not be open.  Please bring your student ID’s with you for faster check out!

 

 Tonight the Girls Basketball team plays LeRoy at HOME beginning at 6:00pm. Go Knights!
