for Friday, December 13th

Christmas in the library is TODAY during lunch.  Stop in for Christmas music, snacks, Christmas craft making, and possibly a reindeer game.  Don't forget your lunch!  Thank you to the Key Club for sponsoring this event.

Students, please look on Skyward at your second semester schedule.  Now is the time to make sure that there are no errors.  If you see something that doesn't look right, please contact Mrs. Whitehouse or Mrs. Coy.

If any students are considering adding Art Appreciation to their schedule, 3rd hour next semester, they must see Mrs. Whitehouse this week because of Parkland paperwork.

In yesterday’s Christmas hat competition, results are: Freshmen had 16 % participation; Seniors had 18%; Sophomores had 26%; Juniors had 31%; and the BRHS employees had a remarkable 77% participation rate and have won four days in a row.  Hailey Arndt is the winner of the best holiday hat. Congratulations, Hailey!  Thank you to all who have participated in our holiday festivities, from the Student Council!  We hope you enjoyed the week!

Winners from each day’s contest will win a “Candy Gram” prize, chosen each day at lunch by secret voters.  Also, Student Council will award Christmas cookies, during lunch on Tuesday, December 18, to the class who participates the most for the entire week.

Student Council is selling Candy Grams during the lunch.  Candy Grams can also be purchased in my room, 208.  Candy Grams cost $2.00.  Proceeds will be donated to the USO: Operation Phone Home project, as part of our Veterans Appreciation mission.
