Happy FFA week!
Dress-up days and activities scheduled for this week are:
TODAY- is Camo/Orange dress theme and we the College/Career Fair from 8am to 1pm in old gym
Friday- Blue and Gold dress theme and the ever popular FFA Barnyard (petting zoo) will be taking place in the ag shop.
There will be a meeting in the chem lab today at 12:35 for anybody interested in playing baseball.
Seniors: you will be getting a sheet to write your senior quote on in English today. Please return this to Ms. Thacker by Friday Mar. 6.
Attention all Key Club members. Special meeting this Friday during lunch in Mrs. Davis' room. Please make sure you attend!
This Friday is the last day to donate to the Stay Warm Drive. Key Club thanks all of you for your generosity.
The next blood drive will be on Thursday, March 5. Key Club sign up during lunch this week to donate.
Attention all cheerleaders: end of season meeting will be Tuesday, March 3 during lunch in the district conference room. You will also need to turn in your CLEAN uniforms and poms. Pizza will be served, please bring $3/each.
Local Scholarship packets are available for BRHS seniors! All local scholarships are due by April 1st. Packets can be picked up in English classrooms, the Counseling office or the main office.
Representatives from Bradley University in Peoria will be coming to visit Tuesday March 3rd during 6th hour to talk about their college programs and campus, please see Mrs. Whitehouse for a pass if you would like to attend.
Are you interested in fishing? The Bass Fishing Club invites you to attend a meeting on Thursday, 2/27 at 12:30 in the new gym.
There will be mandatory scholastic bowl practices during lunch in the chem lab next week on Tuesday and Thursday.
Attention Seniors: Yearbook will need 2 baby pics, 2 other pics of you growing up and 2 senior photos by April 1. If you can't get your senior pics by then, we still need the others. Last day to accept senior photos will be May 1.
Cold and flu season is here. Please help prevent the spread of illness by covering coughs and sneezes, washing your hands often, using sanitizer and staying home if you are ill.
The Knight to Remember Talent show and dinner is TOMORROW at the high school. Dinner is from 5:00 – 7pm in the new gym. The Talent Show starts at 7:15 in the Old Gym. Tickets are required but also can be purchased at the door or you may purchase your tickets from any band member!
After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Davis in the Alt Ed room. Lunch detentions Thursday are with Ms. Miller.
