There will be no lifting for Boys Track or Football TODAY after school.

Key Club will have a meeting during lunch this Friday, March 5th.

Attention SENIORS: Troy Hall with Jostens will be here to deliver your 2020 Graduation Order on 

FRIDAY, MARCH 12TH BEFORE SCHOOL.   Please see your invoice for all payment options on or before delivery date.  Any senior that still needs to turn in their cap and gown order, you may do so at this time.  Any student may place an order for a class ring that day as well. 

 

Would all girls basketball players, please come to the office today.

 

Attention all cheerleaders: end of season meeting will be Tuesday during lunch in the district conference room.  You will also need to turn in your CLEAN uniforms and poms.  Pizza will be served, please bring $3/each. 

 

Representatives from Bradley University in Peoria will be coming to visit Tuesday March 3rd during 6th hour to talk about their college programs and campus, please see Mrs. Whitehouse for a pass if you would like to attend. 

  
There will be mandatory scholastic bowl practices during lunch in the chem lab on Tuesday and Thursday of this week.  

Seniors: please turn in your Senior quotes by Friday to Ms. Thacker.

 

Local Scholarship packets are available for BRHS seniors!  All local scholarships are due by April 1st.  Packets can be picked up in English classrooms, the Counseling office or the main office. 

Attention Seniors:  Yearbook will need 2 baby pics, 2 other pics of you growing up and 2 senior photos by April 1.  If you can't get your senior pics by then, we still need the others.  Last day to accept senior photos will be May 1.

Congratulations to Junior, Cole Stephens who came in second at the 3-point shoot-out in Catlin last Friday making 10 of his 15 3-point shots and therefore is now moving on to the Sectionals Shoot-out this Friday at Schlarman. Good Luck Cole!

Thank you to everyone who competed in the Knight to Remember Talent show on Friday night.  In first place was the “Chicks with Sticks”, coming in 2nd place was Macey Hamm with her Poi Balls entertainment and third place was Romero Fernandez with a Piano solo.  Congratulations, everyone who performed did an awesome job with his or her performances.  Thank you also to Shari Eubank for her dedication to the music program at Blue Ridge schools.

Congratulations to the Varsity Scholastic Bowl team for going 6-1 on Saturday as Blue Ridge hosted the inaugural Lincoln Prairie Scholastic Bowl Conference Tournament placing 2nd overall.  In pool play the Knights defeated Cerro Gordo, Arcola, Shiloh, Argenta-Oreana, Heritage and Sangamon Valley to advance to the championship match only to lose to Villa Grove.  The Varsity Scholastic Bowl team is now 46-17 and was led by Nadia Beadle's 26 toss-ups followed by Sami Boogren with 22, Josephine Aldrich with 11, Mitchell Houser with 8, Hutch Partlow with 4 and Abby Johnson with 3.  The Varsity Scholastic Bowl team is back in action next Monday as they host the IHSA Regional starting at 4:30pm.  A special thank you to everyone who helped run the tournament from Blue Ridge!  We cannot thank you enough!
