STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning Blue Ridge! It’s now time for your daily announcements:
Picture day is TOMORROW! We’ll start the day during 1st hour with the Seniors. Please go to your classrooms for attendance then the remainder will be called down with Juniors, Sophomores then Freshman. Knight learners pictures will be from 10-11am. Please pick up your order forms in the office today and give them to the photographer when you get your picture taken on Friday.
The Snack Shack is back! This year the Snack Shack is located outside Mrs. Ringel's room during passing periods. The Snack Shack is only open when the cart is out in the hallway, so please do not enter the classroom for Snacks at any other time.
Are you 18 and looking for a job? Anyone who is 18 and interested in a fall job working at Parnell at the elevator weighing in trucks please see Ms. Meisner in the Ag room.
Attention all cheerleaders-the practice schedule has been posted on Group Me. Make sure to check it out. First practice is Wednesday, Sept 9th.
Golf pictures for boys and girls teams will be Sept. 15 at 3:30 at the Woodlawn Country Club.
Yearbooks from last school year are in! You can get them in room 214 at 2:20 any day this week.
The show must go on - even with social distancing! Auditions for the fall play will be held this Friday, September 4 on the stage in Moore Gymnasium from 3:00-5:00 and next Tuesday, September 8 from 3:00-5:00. If you have questions of any sort, please talk to Miss Yeagle as soon as possible. She will be on the stage right after school today and tomorrow if you want to check in. This year may be a little different, but it’s still going to be tons of fun! Don’t miss it!!!!
During this past summer at the Illinois FFA Convention, the Blue Ridge FFA Chapter was announced as a Premier Gold rating chapter ranked as one of the top 34 chapters in the state and was selected as a National Finalist. Earlier this week it was announced that the Blue Ridge FFA Chapter has received a 3 Star rating from National FFA which is the highest rating a chapter can receive and is being recognized as one of the top chapters in the country. Congratulations to all of our FFA members for all of their hard work and dedication to achieve this recognition!
Students: please remember that you can log yourselves in for attendance on the Blue Ridge website when working remotely. Daily attendance is a requirement. You logging in and accounting for yourself will help the office staff and teachers know that you have been working online. Thank you for your assistance!
