The next FFA Meeting is next week, January 20th with the committee meetings at 6:30 and the chapter meeting at 7 pm in the new gym at the high school. Masks are required along with all social distance requirements. We will be playing a live-action, socially distant, version of Jumanji!
Congrats to the Varsity Scholastic Bowl team for going 3-0 last night to start conference play defeating Bement 320-40, Cerro Gordo 320-70 and Argenta-Oreana 430-50 to improve their overall record to 14-4 and 3-0 in LPC play. Congrats to the JV Scholastic Bowl team for going 2-1 with a pair of wins over Argenta-Oreana. Leading the Varsity Knights in toss-ups was Sami Boogren with 24 followed by Hutch Partlow with 10, Abby Johnson with 9, Aiden Soliday and Annabell Johnson with 3 each. Captaining the JV team and leading in toss-ups was Conner Otto with 16 followed by Alexis Wike with 6, Mara Denney with 5 and Addison Warsaw with 4. The Varsity A and B teams are back in action tomorrow morning in the state wide 32 team ultra competitive IHSSBCA Tournabout. Thanks to all the staff who helped work a smooth virtual experience for all teams. Good Luck Knights!
