for Tuesday, January 19th
There will be a Girls Basketball meeting right after school TODAY in the new gym.
The next FFA Meeting is tomorrow with the committee meetings at 6:30 and the chapter meeting at 7 pm in the new gym at the high school. Masks are required along with all social distance requirements. We will be playing a live-action, socially distant, version of Jumanji!
On Saturday the Blue Ridge Varsity A and B teams competed respectively in the ultra competitive 36 statewide IHSSBCA Tournabout. The A team went 3-7 in the tournament defeating Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort) E and Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort) as well as Monticello while losing very close matches to St. Edwards Catholic (Elgin) by 20, Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort) C by 15 and United Township (East Moline) by only 10 pts each. The B team went 1-9 garnishing valuable varsity experience. The A team was led by Sami Boogren’s 37 toss-ups followed by Abby Johnson with 21, Aiden Soliday with 13, Hutch Partlow with 10 and Ben Potter with 9. The B team was led by Annabell Johnson with 29 followed by Conner Otto with 19, Addison Warsaw and Mara Denney with 5 each and Alexis Wike with 4. The Knights are back in Lincoln Prairie Conference play this Thursday vs. Arcola and A-L-A-H. Go Knights!
