DAILY STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

for Friday, January 29th        

 

FCA will be meeting today in Mr. Minteer's room at lunch. Anyone is welcome to attend.

There will be a Junior Prom Committee meeting during lunch TODAY in Mrs. Lagle's room.  Limited space is available.  Please sign up with Mrs. Lagle to attend. 

Auditions finish TODAY for the spring play! They will be held in the library from 3:30-5:30 today. No experience is needed! Everyone is welcome! If you don’t want to be onstage, we need sound and light operators and stage crew!  If you want to be involved but can’t make auditions, talk to Ms. Yeagle any time!

 

Attention Seniors. If you are interested in working on a local Corn and Soybean farm full time after graduation and being trained on Semi and Farm Machinery driving- see Ms. Meisner in the Ag Room for more information.

Attention Seniors, Local scholarship packets are now available in the Library! Packets are for any Senior interested in applying. 

 

The CEO program that Blue Ridge belongs to is having an event on this Sunday, January 31st at the Clintonia Eagle at 2pm.  If you are interested, please check out Central IL CEO on facebook or CICEO.BINGO on instagram to buy your tickets while supplies last.

 

Congratulations to the Varsity Scholastic Bowl for winning a contentious match over Sangamon Valley 290-280 and Heritage 300-130 last night to improve their overall record to 23-7 (7-0) in the LPC.  The JV lost two close matches on the night dropping their overall record to 4-3 (2-3) in the conference.  Leading the Varsity in toss-ups was Sami Boogren with 10 followed by Hutch Partlow with 6, Aiden Soliday and Annabell Johnson with 3 each and Ben Potter with 2.  Leading the JV in balanced scoring attack with 5 toss-ups was Conner Otto and Addison Warsaw with 5 each followed by Mara Denney and Alexis Wike with 4 each.  Go Knights!
