for Tuesday, February 23rd
Congrats to the Varsity Scholastic Bowl team for going 3-0 Thursday night defeating Mendota 280-130, 410-100 and 280-90 to improve their overall record to 34-14 overall. Leading the Varsity in tossups was Sami Boogren with 15 followed by Hutch Partlow with 11, Abby Johnson with 6, Annabell Johnson with 3, and Aiden Soliday and Ben Potter with 1 each. Congrats to the JV Scholastic Bowl team for also defeating Mendota 250-70, 210-60, and 170-110 to improve their overall record to 9-3. Leading the JV in scoring was Conner Otto with 17 followed by Alexis Wike and Addison Warsaw with 6 each and Mara Denney with 4. Way to go Knights!
FFA Strawberries will be here on March 4th and will be ready to pick up at 2:30 pm in the Ag room. Stay tuned to more info as we get closer to the date.
This week in honor of National FFA Week we are holding a Trivia Game every day during announcements. We will ask 2 questions and the first person to email with the correct response to one or both questions to blueridgeffa@blueridge18.org will receive a chance in the FFA Week drawing that will happen on Friday.

2: What is the FFA motto?
The yearbook class will need 2 senior pics, 2 baby pics and 2 other pictures of you growing up by Apr. 1st. You can send these digitally to athacker@blueridge18.org or bring them to the school to be scanned!
Seniors - Local scholarship packets are now available in the Library! Packets are for any Senior interested in applying.
Next week is FFA Week! Feel free to participate and use the hashtag #BlueRidgeFFA to join in on the fun. Up-share your pictures on social media to be counted in the FFA Week drawing.

Thursday is ORANGE & CAMO DRESS day, along with the Virtual College Fair at 5pm
Friday is BLUE & GOLD day. Be sure to see any FFA Officer or Ms. Meisner when you dress up to get in the FFA Week drawing.

The 3rd Annual "Hunting for your Future" College Fair hosted by Blue Ridge FFA has gone virtual! See posters around the school to sign up for the Virtual College Fair on February 25th, 2021 at 5 pm. See any FFA Officer or Ms. Meisner for any information.
The Blue Ridge FFA is hosting their 1st Annual Barnyard Stampede Virtual 5k. See posters March 19th-28th. $25 for Blue Ridge Students and Employees and FFA Alumni, $30 for other participants. Sign up and pay with any FFA Member or by the QR code on the posters by March 5th to receive a medal and shirt.
For those interested in volleyball, please touch base with Coach Miles as the first practice starts on Monday, March 8th.
Soccer season will start soon! Practices begin 3-1 with games set to begin 3-10.
If you are interested in playing soccer, please see Mrs. Flannell in room 201 as soon as possible!!
Senior Girls Basketball night will be held next Wednesday, 2/24 at 6pm in the new gym.
