For Wednesday, April 21st             


Seniors, FASFA is a graduation requirement this year. You will need to return a waiver to show you have completed your FASFA application, or a non-participation form to exempt you. One of these waivers is due soon in order to receive your diploma. Please check the counseling google classroom or see Mrs. Raines in the library for a waiver packet.


Soccer players:  Please return your clean soccer uniform to Mrs. Flannell this week!


Remember to return or renew your library books.  Fines are now being charged for late books! 

IT’S HOMECOMING WEEK!  Theme for the week is “Wish Upon a Star” Homecoming Spirit Dress-up Days:


The winners of Tuesday’s Celebrity Dress Up Day contest are Abby Johnson and Daniel Brown.  Also, the winner of yesterday’s trivia challenge was Snow White…AKA…Mrs. Flannell.  Mrs. Flannell won a gift card to Subway for her first place prize!  Thank you to everyone that competed!


The class competition results for yesterday’s Celebrity Day dress up contest are as follows: 

4th place: Seniors with 13 % participation

3rd place:  Freshmen with 17% participation

2nd place: Sophomores with 21% participation

1st Place: Juniors with 27% participation


Hallway decorating must be completed by 4:00 pm on Thursday; and Lip Synch Battle videos are due to Ms. Loop by 4:00 pm Thursday.  Each of these competitions have double point values.


Today and Thursday we have regular class schedules.  Please check the Guidance Office class pages, available by 8th hour, to vote for your favorite outfits.


TOMORROW is Class Colors Day.  Freshmen wear white shirts; Sophomores  wear silver (gray) shirts; Juniors wear blue shirts; Seniors wear black shirts; and staff members wear their Blue Ridge Jerseys. 

Friday is Blue Ridge Spirit Day.  Everyone should wear their Blue Ridge gear and show us YOUR SPIRIT!


Summer Volleyball camp forms are in the office for the Volleyball girls.


May 12 will be spring sports photos the schedule is as follows:

Softball: 2:30: on the softball field

Girls track: 3:00 practice field 

Boys track 3:30 practice field

Baseball 4:00 at south park or practice field 


Congratulations to Sr. Victor Reynolds and Junior Anthony Thompson for being selected as the News-Gazette Honorable Mention team for Basketball!

There are summer Golf practice schedules in the office for those of you interested in playing golf this fall.


After school detentions this week are with Mr. Decker.
