In Boys Golf last night, Dylan Kelley lead the Knights with a season low of 48, while the team fell to Mahomet in a duel meet. In Girls Golf ,Ashlyn Voyles tied for medalist honors, as she also tied her personal best of a 43. The team fell to Mahomet 197 – 226.
Congrats to the Varsity Lady Knights for defeating Iroquois West by a score of 25-9, 25-13 to start off the volleyball season 1-0. The JV lost a close contest by a score of 22-25, 21-25. Leading the varsity Lady Knights were Payton Burns with 5 kills, 5 digs while Gracie Shaffer had 11 assists and 1 block and Alexis Wike's 5 aces. Jamie Wanserski chipped in with 12 service pts, 3 kills and 2 aces. The Knights are back in action Thursday at Ridgeview. Go Knights!
BRHS soccer won its home opener yesterday with a 3-1 victory over Danville Schlarman.
Scoring for the Knights was Ty Meeker with an assist from Zach Lewis, Hank Mitchell with an assist from Bradley Flannell and Ty Meeker with an assist from Wyatt Cole. The Knights are back in action at home on Wednesday at 430 against the Rantoul Eagles.
