Please make sure you are wearing your mask properly at all times!  It is to be worn over your nose and mouth!  Let’s all stay safe until the holiday break!  Also remember to bring your own mask from home!  Our supply is running low, so bring your own mask!

 

The Kindness Club will be meeting during lunch TODAY in the conference room.

 

Join the Blue Ridge High School STEM Club in the “Holly Jolly STEM Night” TONIGHT as they compete to build the best gingerbread house and the best paper airplane.

Activities start every 45 minutes with the first group kicking off at 5:00 PM. This is a free event, but there will be 3D printed toys available for purchase and donations to the STEM Club are always welcome.  Participants of all ages are welcome to join in this engineering challenge! Please see Mr. Scurlock, Ms. Miller or Ms. Villwock to RSVP your time slot!

Attention Seniors:  Please stop in the office and sign-off on your name spelling for your graduation diploma.

 

The CEO Chili Cook-off is Saturday at Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth!  If you get a chance to go, please go from 1-4pm.  Entry fee is $8 for adults and $4 for students!

 

FFA Fundraiser items will be here on December 9th. FFA members you will need to come to the Ag Shop to get your items after school. 

 

The next FFA meeting is December 15th with committees at 6:30 and the chapter meeting at 7. We will have our Ugly Christmas Sweater contest, Hot Cocoa, a $5 White Elephant gift exchange, and a gingerbread house decorating contest. Don't forget your mask! 

Jostens will be delivering class jewelry and gift with purchase on Wednesday, December 15th during Lunch.  You may bring cash or check that day or pay online prior to delivery day using the postcard and emailed invoice. Students on the JPAY Payment Plan in good standing will receive their ring!  Any student may place an order for a class ring that day, or use this day as a service day to get your class ring repaired or resized. Jostens will also be taking additional orders for varsity letter jackets and senior graduation orders.

 

Congratulations to members of the FFA Parliamentary Procedure and Conduct of Chapter Meetings teams. Last night they competed at Decatur MacArthur High School at the Section 16 event and both are advancing to Districts in April. The parliamentary procedure team placed 2nd overall and consisted of Kaleb Southern 2nd place chair, Gracie Shaffer 1st place floor member, Sydney Rausch 2nd place floor member, Hank Mitchell 4th place floor member, Kallee Steinkamp, and Brenna Friel 10th place floor member. The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team placed 1st overall with Lily Enger 1st place chair, Rachel Light 1st place floor member, Lori Weiss 2nd place floor member, Gavin Friel 3rd place floor member and 8th graders Charlie Hale 4th floor member, Ava Paullin, and Carmen Ellis. Congratulations! 

The Boys Basketball game last night, the JV won and the Varsity team lost.
