Congratulations to the November Athletes of the Month are:

Cheer - Kayla Cole

Kayla has really stepped up this last month in cheer.  She has shown how well rounded she is and also her persistence is key.  Kayla has learned the role of a base and a backspot, both key positions in stunting, and has proven to herself, her teammates and coach that she's fully capable of performing that role.  She is also very determined when it comes to stunting and wants to keep at it until it's the best it can be.

Scholastic Bowl - Sami Boogren

Sami has really stepped up her level of commitment to scholastic bowl her junior year to be the leader and face of the program.  She leads us in varsity toss-ups this year and did as she did last year. She always challenges herself and tries to improve herself and instill those qualities in her teammates.

Lady Knights Basketball - Paige Browning

Paige has a tremendous work ethic and is always pushing herself in practice and in games.  She has become our defensive specialist and wants to be on the floor for the whole game.  She continues to improve through hard work during the season, just as she did over the past summer.

Boys Basketball - Zach Lewis

Zach had very few turnovers, and led the team in points in multiple games. He led the team defensively throughout our November games as well.

Congratulations to Junior Gracie Shaffer for being selected as the News Gazette’s Volleyball  2nd team All-Area player and 1st team All Conference player!  Way to go Gracie!

Here’s your Christmas joke of the day:

What kind of Motorcycle does Santa ride? …..    A Holly - Davidson!!!!   J
