Good Morning!  Please remember our fallen citizens on this important day in history!

If you are interested in running to be a class officer, please see Mrs. Wieber TODAY. We will vote in advisory Thursday.  You do not have to be a part of student council to run.  Help your class win the Homecoming Championship! 

Extra yearbooks are here and for sale for $50 each from the 2017-2018 school year.  See Ms. Thacker to get yours today!

Benchmark testing will be on Wednesday and Thursday morning and we’ll following the Benchmark bell schedule both of those mornings.  Afternoon classes will remain the same bell schedule.

A college rep from Illinois Wesleyan University will be here on Thursday during 7th hour.  Juniors and Seniors can see Mrs. Whitehouse for a pass. 

The first HS book club will meet in the library during lunch on THURSDAY, September 13th. Bring your lunch and discuss your latest read!

Golf Grandparents night is .  Tee off time is 4pm at Woodlawn.

Golf t-shirt orders are here!  Please see Mrs. Raines in the Library to pick up your orders.

Freshman class ring orders are due back on Tuesday, 9/18 during lunch.

Wednesday is Soccer Flood the Field night at the Soccer field and Friday is Football and Cheer Grandparent Night.  Please come on out and support our Knight Athletes!

At LSA on Saturday at the 12 team Varsity Volleyball invitational at LSA, the Lady Knights placed 4th overall pushing their record to 13-3.  The JV went 2-2 at the ALAH 5 team round robin tourney pushing their overall record to 7-2.  The Varsity won their pool defeating Cornerstone 25-8, 25-6; Decatur MacArthur 25-17, 25-22 and Cerro Gordo 25-21, 25-14.  In the after the Varsity Lady Knights lost a hard fought battle to Cerro Gordo in 3 sets and Warrensburg-Latham in 2 sets.  Congrats to Polly Reynolds and Hannah Brackenhoff for being named to the All-Tourney team.  Leading the Knights was Avery Fisher with 76 assists followed by Hannah Brackenhoff with 73 digs; Polly Reynolds with 17 kills and 10 blocks and Jessie Wanserski with 21 kills.  Way to go Knights!

The Boys Golf team defeated Monticello and Heyworth yesterday in Monticello.  Leading the way for the Knights was Aaron Jayne with a 40 and Garrett Wendell with 44.

Today the Soccer Team plays Normal Calvary Christian at HOME at South Park beginning at 4:30. 

The Volleyball team plays Ridgeview also at HOME with the Junior Varsity beginning at 5:30 and

the Varsity shortly after. Go Knights!

After school detentions this week are with Mrs. Wieber on room 211.   Lunch detentions today are with Mrs. Keith in room 207.

Today’s lunch menu is:  Turkey Gravy in Bowl or Chicken Nuggets w/ Oven Fries, Whipped Potatoes, Green Beans, Mandarin Oranges, Juice and Milk
