Good Morning!

Tuesday will be a lunch meeting in Ms. Loop’s room for the NEW Spanish Club.  Please come if you are interested.

Freshman class ring orders are due back Tuesday, 9/18 during lunch when Freshman meet with the Jostens rep again for orders.  Please bring a check for $60 down payment or check out the ring packet for “3 payment options”.  Design your ring and print your order form at  There are extra packets in the high school office if you did not receive one.

Boys’ Basketball will be having a mandatory meeting Tuesday regarding team shoes.

We have extra copies of yearbooks from 2017-2018 school year.  They are $50 each.  See Ms. Thacker to get your copy today!

Seniors: Columbus Day, October 8th is a great day to visit a college.  Parkland has a morning and an afternoon visit time.  RSVP to visit 

The first library social will be THIS WEEK, Thursday, September 20th during lunch. Kickoff the “Read for a Lifetime” & Abraham Lincoln Teen Choice Reading Programs with Breakout EDU, LEGOs, Puzzles, and Coloring Pages. Fun and reading encouraged, Rice Krispies and M&Ms provided.

Progress Reports will be given out this Friday during Advisory Period.

Congrats to the Varsity Volleyball team for going a perfect 4-0 on Saturday defeating Cornerstone 25-6, 25-4; Sangamon Valley 25-22, 26-24; Tri-Point 25-10, 25-15; and Ridgeview 25-9, 25-15 to capture the 7th annual Blue Ridge Round Robin Championship and improve their overall record to 19-3.  Leading the Varsity Knights was Avery Fisher with 67 assists, Hannah Brackenhoff with 44 digs, Polly Reynolds with 27 kills and 5 blocks.  Congrats to Avery, Polly and Hannah for being named to the 6 player all tourney team.  Congrats to the JV Volleyball team for placing 2nd Saturday going 3-1 improving their overall record to 12-3.  Way to go Lady Knights!

Today the Volleyball team travels to Villa Grove with the Freshman beginning at 5:00,

followed by the Junior Varsity, and then the Varsity. The Junior Varsity Football team plays

Cerro Gordo at HOME; Kick-Off time TONIGHT is at 6:00. Go Knights!

After school detentions this week are with:  Ms. Loop in the Spanish room 208.
