Remember your Valentine…or your friend…. or your secret crush! The Student Council is selling Carnations for Valentine’s Day in the commons during lunch! TODAY is the final day to order for Friday delivery!
Are you interested in Bass Fishing? There will be a meeting on next Wednesday, Feb. 16th at 12:35 in the new gym during lunch.
FRIDAY, February 11th is “Bring a Junior to Class Day” at CEO! The event is from 7:30am – 9am. If you are a Junior, please see Grace Coffey and she’ll be more than happy to discuss this event with you.
Parkland College will be here on Wednesday Feb. 16th at 11:30 (5th hour). Any Junior or Senior, please see Ms. Hieronymus or Ms. Clayton for passes to those college visits!
Spring sports Parent meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 16th at 6pm in the HS commons.
It’s Yearbook ordering time! Please order your 2021-2022 yearbook now. The orders are due February 28th at a cost of $50. Please give your check to Ms. Thacker.
Congrats to the Varsity Scholastic Bowl team for winning two contentious LPC matches over Cumberland by the score of 270-210 and Tri-County 310-230 to improve their overall record to 29-12 (8-1 in the LPC). The JV continued their dominance with a win over Cumberland by the score of 300-80. Leading the varsity in toss-ups was Sami Boogren with 12 followed by AJ Johnson with 5, Hutch Partlow with 4, Aiden Soliday with 3 and Conner Otto with 1. The JV was led in tossups by Alexis Wike with 6, Addison Warsaw with 4, Cadin Dozier with 3 and Dylan Coffey with 1. The scholastic bowl team is back in action tomorrow vs. Okaw Valley and Sangamon Valley with the first toss-up at 5 pm. Our seniors will be recognized before the first toss-up. Go Knights!

FRIDAY - Boys Basketball (6:00) vs. Cerro Gordo and Senior night for both Basketball and Cheer
SATURDAY - Boys Basketball (3:00)
After school detentions this week are with Mr. Seneca.
