DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

for Monday, February 28th

 

STUDENTS, please do not use the north door by the unit office for access.  You will not be allowed in.  Use the circle drive or ag doors to obtain entry to the high school.

 

Basketball cheerleaders need to turn in their uniforms anytime this week to Coach Woliung.  Items include basketball top and skirt, body liner, poms and football skirt.

 

Girls and Boys Basketball teams:  please turn in your uniforms and warmups to your coaches this week!

Attention Seniors: Yearbook needs 2 baby pictures, 2 senior pictures and 2 other pictures of you growing up by Apr. 1st for the Senior graduation slideshow.  You can send them digitally to athacker@blueridge18.org or bring in hard copies and give them to Grace Coffey to scan.

 

It’s Yearbook ordering time!  Please order your 2021-2022 yearbook now.  The orders are due TODAY at a cost of $50.  They will arrive in the fall after school starts.  Please give your check to Ms. Thacker.

 

Last Tuesday and Thursday Blue Ridge hosted the IHSA Girls Sectional Basketball tournament.  We’d like to thank Mr. Miles, Mrs. Hoffman, the announcers, clock people and statisticians for keeping everyone in check during the games.  Thanks also to Coach Hanshew and Assistant Coach Ms. Villwock and the entire Girls Basketball team and 8th grade team for being the welcoming committee to the teams competing and the 3-point shooters.  You are a class act group!  We wanted you to know that we’ve noticed and you all deserve a huge thank you!

 

The Army will be here during lunch on Wednesday, March 3rd in the commons.

 

FFA week  final Trivia question is:

There will be a student council meeting on TOMORROW, March 1st at 12:15 during lunch in the library.  All student council members are encouraged to attend!

 

Farmer City Rehab & Health Care is looking for students that are 16 and older for their food services department.  Hours are from 4pm – 8pm.  The office has flyers with all the information if you are interested!

Spring sports photos will be on Mar. 8th:

3:30 Girls track at the practice field if weather permits. 

4:00 boys track at the practice field if weather permits. 

4:30: Softball at the girl's diamond if weather permits. 

5:00 baseball at South Park
