Please order your Yearbook by May 27th!  Cost is $55.  Please give your check to Ms. Thacker.

 

Bring your garden gloves to the town square TOMORROW at 9am.  The Farmer City Garden Club will be cleaning up the flowerbeds and Main St planters.  Plan to help with spreading mulch, weeding, and general clean up. 

 

Attention FFA students:  at noon on Saturday is the set-up of the old gym for the banquet on Sunday evening at 6pm.  Please be there!  We need everyone’s help!

 

Part time Lifeguard and Pool Cashier summer positions are available at the Farmer City pool this summer!  Applications are in the office!

 

Blue Ridge STEM Club is celebrating the earth TOMORROW with crafts, snacks and exhibits about our environment!  Admission is 1 recyclable item per person for the event.  Please register in advance for the available time slots.  See the flyers posted around the school for more information.

Today is Earth day and STEM Club is wrapping up their Coins for Creatures Fundraiser for the World Wildlife Fund. Today at lunch is the last chance to add coins to decide which BRHS Staff member will get soaked and which endangered animal the STEM club will symbolically adopt! Make your change count!"

 

Prom and Post Prom tickets will be sold in the commons during lunch TODAY thru April 29th.   Prom tickets are $15 each and Post Prom tickets are $10 each. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door! Purchase tickets at the same time for those walking together for Promenade! If you are not here during lunch, please see Mrs. Lagle to purchase your tickets either before or after school. Non-BRHS Guest forms must be signed and returned by Friday May 6.  Prom t-shirt forms are available in the office or from Mrs. Lagle. They are $15 and orders are due by Wednesday, April 27th .

 

Seniors-all library books are due back by Monday, May 2nd.  All fines paid after May 1st will need to be paid by cash.

There will be an informational meeting at city hall on May 5th at 4pm for all pool workers.  This will be your opportunity to turn in employment paperwork and sign up for scheduling.

 

At the four-team Argenta-Oreana quad meet last night Alexis Wike captured victories in the HJ, 200 and 400 while taking 2nd in the 100.  The 4x800 team of Gracie Shaffer, Anna Place, Sami Boogren and Brenna Friel took 1st.  Phoebe Reynolds placed 1st in the LJ and 300 IH with a PR time and 2nd's in the LJ and 100HH.  Anna Place PR'd in the 3200 while Brenna Friel PR'd in the 1600.  Way to go Lady Knights track and field!
