Attention students:  ALL library books are due TODAY!

The garden club will be in the square again this Saturday at 9am to mulch and weed the remaining 2 beds along with planting the planters. Come out to help make your community look nice for the summer

 This month, come join FCA  as we look at how music can help shape, encourage, and challenge us to live life well. FCA will meet Today at lunch in Mr. Minteer's room. Join us for food, fun, and encouragement!  This week we'll be having homemade tater tot casserole!    

Any incoming freshman through senior who is interested in learning a new skill, being part of a competitive team, and a component of school spirit is invited to the 2022 Color Guard Clinics and Auditions. No experience is necessary and you never know if you can achieve it if you don't try it. Clinics are in the old gym on TONIGHT and May 12th from 5:30-6:30 and May 16th and 18th from 5:30-6:30 with Auditions being on May 23rd   from 5:30-7:30. It is okay if you can't make it to clinics. See any current guard member or Ms. Meisner for more information.

 Prom is Saturday! Promenade and Coronation will begin at 5:00 on Saturday in the gym. Students should arrive between 4:15 and 4:30 for outside pictures. Line-up in the commons at 4:45. Students should park in the front of the school or in the north faculty parking lot. The public should park behind the school and enter through the back door by the gym.   Prom is at Epiphany Farms Estate in Downs from 8-11 p.m.  Students can change clothes at the Estate, so they can go directly to Post Prom. Post Prom is at BRHS from 11:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. Doors will be locked at 12:00!  Food and drinks will be provided. Be smart and have a safe Prom weekend. 

Seniors - all fines now must be paid in cash by May 20th.

At the 18 team class A girls sectional at Central Catholic the lady knights placed 7th overall as a team.  Alexis Wike was the headliner by winning the HJ to qualify for the state meet next Thursday at EIU.  Alexis also narrowly missed qualifying for state in the 200 and 400 as she placed 3rd in both and ran the 400 with a blistering PR time of 1:02.99.  Gracie Shaffer placed 4th in the 300IH with a PR time of 54.39s.  Phoebe Reynolds placed 4th in the TJ with a PR jump of 9.27m or 30'5".  Another notable includes Morgan Drozs ending her throwing career on a high note with a PR shot put throw of 7.05m.  All in all a great day in less than ideal conditions for a long track meet.  Good season lady knights track and field!

 Ellie Schleiper didn't allow a single run against Tri-County, throwing a complete game shutout and leading as the Lady Knights Softball team jumped to a 10-0 victory on Wednesday.  The lady Knights opened up scoring in the first inning when Carsyn Stiger singled, scoring one run.  They went on adding 2 runs in the second inning and 2 runs in the third.  A single run in the 5th and then opening up with four in the sixth inning to win the game.  Carsyn Stiger, Cassie Zimmerman, Ashlyn Voyles, and Lillian Enger each had RBIs in the frame.   The Lady Knights tallied 13 hits on the day.  Lily Enger, Carsyn Stiger, Ashlyn Voyles, Farrah Michaels, and Cassie Zimmerman each had multiple hits.  Next up Watseka on Tuesday as the Lady Knights begin Regional play in LeRoy at 630. 

After school detentions are with Mr. Minteer this week.
