It’s not too late to order the Yearbook!  Orders are due May 27th!  Cost is $55.  Please give your payment to Ms. Thacker.

 

TODAY, May 18th at 12:30 there will be a meeting in the Ag Room for all attending the FFA State Convention in June!

 

TOMORROW is the last FCA of the semester! All are welcome, so come to Mr. Minteer's room during lunch and join us for some cake, ice cream, and pizza as we celebrate the end of the year! We hope to see you there.

 

Attention students:  ALL library books are past due.  They will be marked as lost and you will be charged for the price of the book. 

Color Guard Clinics continue TONIGHT  from 5:30 – 6:30pm for anyone who is interested in learning a new skill, being part of a competitive team, and a component of school spirit.  No experience is necessary and you never know if you can achieve it if you don't try it.  We need a couple more high schoolers!  Come on and take the challenge!  Auditions will be held Monday, May 23rd from 3:30 to 5:30. It is okay if you can't make it to clinics. See any current guard member or Ms. Meisner for more information.

 

Please excuse the boys baseball team at 2:25 today for their regional semi-final game at Cissna Park.

The Lady Knights took the lead late in the game in a 10-8 victory over Watseka on Tuesday in Regional play.  The game was tied at eight with the Lady Knights batting in the top of the seventh when Alexis Young singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. The team collected 18 hits in the game led by Alexis Wike, Ashlyn Voyles, Alexis Young, Cassie Zimmerman and Farrah Michaels all collecting multiple hits in the game.  Alexis Wike led the team with four hits in five at bats collecting 2 RBIs.  Alexis Young went 3-4 knocking in 5 runs.  Ellie Schleiper pitched the Lady Knights to victory completing seven innings, allowing eight runs on 12 hits, striking out eight and walking zero.  The Lady Knights take on LeRoy in the Regional Championship at 430 in LeRoy on Friday night.

 

Lunch menu for today is: Country Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes & Gravy or an alternative of a Turkey sandwich
