STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
for Wednesday, November 11th
See Mrs. Raines in the library if you want to hear more about the Read for a Lifetime program.
The Golf Awards night is Thursday, November 12th at 6pm in the new gym. This night is for the golf athletes and their parents.
The FFA SAE night is November 16th at 6pm in the Old Gym- Parents are invited to attend, sign up with Ms. Meisner.
FFA members wanting to make the team for the Section 16 Agronomy contest need to attend Selection Night on November 11th at 3pm in the Ag Room.
The next FFA Meeting is November 18th with Committees starting at 6:30 and Chapter at 7 pm in the old gym. It is a glow meeting so feel free to have glowsticks and as requested there will be socially distancing line dancing. Please bring the top half of official dress to the meeting for pictures. If you do not have official dress please wear a white button-up collared shirt.
Congratulations to the following students who submitted essay’s to the VFW’s Voice of Democracy contest. Winning locally was: 1st place Conner Otto, 2nd place was Paige Bolen, 3rd place was Alex Blake and 4th place was Hank Mitchell. Conner Otto’s essay will move on to the District contest soon. Way to go Knights!
Remember your socially distant seating at lunch is: Seniors are in the Commons, Band students go to the Band room, Juniors and Sophomores are in the new gym and Freshman are in the old gym. If you ordered a lunch, please pick it up at the commons concession stand then go to your designated area.
