Attention all Seniors:  please come the office to sign off on the spelling of your name for your graduation diploma.

The Clinton Community YMCA is looking for part-time staff for the Blue Ridge Y-Zone after school program held at Schneider Elementary School that begins January 4th, 2021.  You must be 15 years old.  Contact Clinton YMCA to inquire about the job.  There are flyers in the high school office if you are interested!

There will be a Student Council meeting at 2:30 TODAY in Ms. Loop’s room.  All Student Council members are encouraged to attend.

The Library will be celebrating the upcoming holidays next Friday, 12/18.  As long as you are not on the D/F list you can come to the library during your study hall for holiday fun.  We will be showing “The Grinch” movie, making Christmas ornaments, cards, and crafts.  There will also be  pre-packaged treats for your snacking pleasure.  Let's work hard these last few days, and end the semester celebrating!

NEXT WEEK is Holiday Spirit Week hosted by the Student Council.

Christmas Spirit Dress-Up Days will be:

Monday- Pajama Day

Tuesday- Christmas/Hanukkah Colors Day

Wednesday- Masks, Ties, and/or Socks Day

Thursday- Holiday Character Day

Friday- Ugly Holiday Sweaters and Masks Day

Make sure and show us your MERRY on the Blue Ridge app   #br_u_knighted

Next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, all high school students will continue to follow the regular 2:20 in-person schedule rather than an alternate semester exam schedule, as in the past.  There will not be a formal exam schedule. Each teacher will determine their end of the semester assessments, which will then be communicated with the students. The lunch hour will continue to be closed.

On Wednesday night FFA members competed virtually in the Section 16 Job Interview event. Members competing included in the JV Division, Kaleb Southern who placed 4th overall, and in the Varsity Division Abby Bolen who was 7th overall, and Jaton Shaffer who was 2nd overall and will be advancing to Districts. Congratulations!

The next FFA meeting is Wednesday, December 16th with Committees at 6:30 and Chapter at 7 pm. It is a remote meeting and the link has been sent out to members. If you did not get the email let a chapter officer or Ms. Meisner know. Feel free to dress up and participate in all of the virtual activities!

Friday’s lunch menu is:  Cheese Pizza and side salad or Alternative lunch of a Chef Salad
