Avery Place didn’t need the offense finally hitting its stride, but she got plenty of support from everyone including herself as the Lady Knights softball team won last night against Heritage 18 – Zero. Avery pitched 4 innings allowing 3 hits, 0 earned runs and fanned 9 with 0 base on balls. She went 4 for 4, with 2 doubles, and 7 RBI. Farrah Michaels, Jasmine Bennet, Lexi Young all had multiple hits, and Ashlyn Voyles capped the scoring off with a Grand Slam in the bottom of the 3rd. They are back at home Friday vs Okaw Valley in another Lincoln Prairie matchup.  Way to go Lady Knights!
