TODAY after school, there will be a girls track meeting after school in the Commons with Coach Miles.


SAE night is TONIGHT for any FFA Member who needs help setting up or working on their SAE. Officially starts at 5 pm, however, you can come as early as 3:30. 


There will be a key club meeting on Friday during lunch in the library!  Please bring your lunches and come to the meeting!


Congratulations to the December Athletes of the Month:

Boys Basketball – Senior Ben Wallace, Ben stepped up big in December in many different ways including his play on the court and his leadership on & off the floor. Ben led many stats throughout the month, and has pushed teammates in practice to work on areas of improvement and work harder in practice to get better.


Scholastic Bowl – Junior Alexis Wike-Alexis has really stepped up and leads our JV team in tossups by a wide margin.  Alexis has also improved tremendously by working on her own to better herself.  Alexis has stepped in and got some varsity experience as well.  Categories of stretch are geography and literature but has knowledge in other categories as well.


 Girls Basketball – Freshman Lily Enger.  Lily brings a great work ethic every day to practice and games.  She is willing to take on new challenges and has competed well at the varsity level. 


 Cheer -  Senior Ava Jamison.  Ava has served as cheer captain the past 2 seasons and does an outstanding job.  Her overall maturity and responsibility as a person and cheerleader is beyond what her coach could have ever imagined.


The next FFA meeting is January 26th with committees starting at 6:30 and the chapter meeting at 7:00. We will be completing one of our big Service Activities and will be teaching line dancing with other activities available. 


Last night FFA members competed in the Food Science Contest and were 5th overall with Rachel Light placing 7th overall in the event. 


After school detentions this week is with Ms. Miller in her room.
