Student Council will be TODAY during lunch in the library. We’ll be electing Student Council officers and starting to organize Homecoming for the fall.
Don’t forget to order your Yearbook by May 27th! Cost is $55. Please give your check to Ms. Thacker.
Blue Ridge STEM Club is celebrating the earth on Saturday, April 23rd with crafts, snacks and exhibits about our environment! Admission is 1 recyclable item per person for the event. Please register in advance for the available time slots. See the flyers posted around the school or see Ms. Miller or Mr. Scurlock for more information.
Prom guest forms are available in the office for prom on May 14th! They are due back on May 6th.
Prom and Post Prom tickets will be sold in the commons during lunch April 18th to 29th. Prom tickets are $15 each and Post Prom tickets are $10 each. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door! Purchase tickets at the same time for those walking together for Promenade. If you are not here during lunch, please see Mrs. Lagle to purchase your tickets either before or after school. Non-BRHS Guest forms must be signed and returned by Friday May 6.
Prom t-shirt forms are available in the office or from Mrs. Lagle. They are $15 and orders are due by Wednesday, April 27.
The Lady Knights lost to Cumberland 9-3. Ashlyn Voyles had a three-run home run in the first inning and Lily Summers led Blue Ridge offensively with two hits in three at bats. Ava Jamison returned to the mound after being out two weeks and Ellie Schleiper also made her high school debut, both pitching 3 innings. Tonight they travel to Rantoul, game starting at 4:30. Teachers, please excuse the softball girls at 2:25 pm with the bus leaving at 2:40.
Varsity Boys and Girls Track has a meet tonight @ PBL @ 4:15. Students should be dismissed @ 2:35 with the bus leaving at 2:50.
