High School Yearbooks are on sale now for $50 until Feb. 24th!  After that date the price will go up!  See Ms. Thacker to order one.

Attention Juniors: There is a Prom Committee meeting during lunch today in Mrs. Lagle’s room. 

Thrive is meeting in Mr. Minteer's room during lunch on Thursday and food will be provided. Come join us for good food, good conversations, and good community. Don't just get through the day; Try to THRIVE! 

Spring sports pictures will be on March 10.  Times are :

This week is National FFA Week where we celebrate and educate about the National FFA Organization. There will be Trivia each morning during announcements and different activities and dress-up days throughout the week for ALL high schoolers to participate in.

Today: Dress up is College and Career with the College and Career Fair going on in the Gym from 9 am-1 pm. There is a wide range of Colleges and Careers and all are welcome to attend. New this year, in order to come to the FFA Barnyard on Friday students coming not part of a class will need a pass that they can only receive from attending the College and Career Fair. 

Friday Blue and Gold Day and the FFA Barnyard. Teachers will get a chance to bring students to the barnyard as a class, any student wanting to come down during study hall will need to have a pass from attending the College and Career Fair.

This Friday, back by popular demand this year, is Tractor Day where students can drive a tractor to school. Any student wanting to drive a tractor to school needs to pick up a permission form from Ms. Meisner and have them turned in to Ms. Meisner no later than 8:15 am on Thursday, February 23rd. Late permission forms will NOT be allowed. There is a $10 entry fee for Students not currently in an Ag Class that must be paid when turning in the permission slip. Students must be 16 to drive their tractors to school or be accompanied by an adult. See Ms. Meisner in the Ag Room for any questions. 

 

Yesterday's FFA Trivia Question was which section is Blue Ridge FFA Located in. The correct answer was Section 16! Ms. Reasoner was the first to email with the right answer and Riley Pruitt was the first to give the correct section with a bonus point saying Clinton is a school we compete against. 

 

Today's Trivia Question is: What year did the Future Farmers of America change its name to the National FFA Organization? Email answer to blueridgeffa@blueridge18.org

 

Lunch change today.  We will be having CHICKEN NUGGETS TODAY, instead of the baked pork chop.  All the sides will be the same though, Au Gratin Potatoes, green beans, Fruit, Milk and Juice.
