Are you interested in a medical-related career field? Volunteering at a hospital could be a great launching point. Carle Hospital Volunteer services will be at Blue Ridge High School on Friday, March 3rd at lunch to talk with students that might be interested in becoming a volunteer at Carle. They will give an overview of their volunteer program, answer any questions the students may have, and speak to its benefits. Please see Ms. Hieronymus to sign up.
There will be a STEM Club meeting today in Ms. Villwock's room at lunch.

Last night FFA members traveled to Mt. Zion High School and competed in the Food Science CDE. Members had to identify food aromas, complete a food triangle test, a general knowledge food science test, and a food marketing team problem. Team members included Sierra Farrare, Anna Place, Mady Wingert, Rachel Light, Lillian Enger, Lori Weiss, Kaydance Wooton, and Cede Manuel. The team placed 8th overall with Rachel and Lillian just missing top 10 placing 13th and 14th respectively.
FFA Members, don't forget strawberry orders are coming in today! Ms. Meisner will call down officers and officer candidates to help organize the 190 flats. We did order extras and those will be for sale once we organize and sort the flats. All strawberries must be picked up today.
