Student Council will be having signups this week today and Friday for the Annual Picnic Basket lunch bidding. The bidding will take place on Monday, 3/20 and Tuesday, 3/21. The Picnic basket lunch and money are all due on Wednesday, March 22nd. If you don’t know, the Picnic Basket lunch will be provided by a high school student. Any student is welcome to bid on the package presented during lunch. All proceeds will go toward Homecoming events.
Last night FFA members traveled to Meridian-Macon HS and competed in the Section 16 Poultry Contest. Team members include Cheyanne Smith, Rachel Light, Lori Weiss, Carmen Ellis, Indra Nolan, Payton Heiser, and Ava Paullin. The team placed 5th overall with Carmen placing 10th overall individually.
The Next FFA Meeting is March 20th in the Ag Room at 7pm. It is our chapter elections so be sure to attend to vote in the next Blue Ridge FFA officer team!
