There will be a volleyball meeting TODAY in the library during lunch.  Come out to meet the new coach(es).

 

Seniors: If you haven’t given Miss T pictures yet, please provide 2 baby pics (up to the age of 2), 2 growing up pics (2-18) and 2 senior pics as soon as possible.   The absolute last day pics can be taken by yearbook is Monday, May 1st

 

Also Seniors …  Don’t forget - Library books are due back by May 1st and all fees and fines are due to the office by May 16th.  All fees and fines after May 1st must be paid in Cash or debit card.

 

Prom and Post Prom tickets will be sold during lunch in the Commons through next Friday, April 28th.  Prom tickets are $20 each and Post Prom tickets are $10 each.  Please make sure that you and your date pay for tickets at the same time!  If you are not here during lunch, please see Mrs. Lagle.  Tickets must be purchased in advance!

 

STEM Club will be hosting their annual Coins for Creatures fundraiser to raise money for the World Wildlife Foundation. From April 24th - April 28th, find the donation table at lunch to donate money to your favorite teacher's jar. The teacher with the most money in their jar by the end of the week will receive a pie to the face after school as well as all the proceeds going to the animal they sponsored! 

 

Thrive is hosting a Spring Fest next Friday, April 28th on the Football field from 4 - 6 pm. All high school students are welcome to attend. There will be lawn games, tie dye, ice cream, and snacks! find a flyer in the school and scan the QR code to sign up or see Mr. Minteer or Mrs. Ringel for more information. 

 

Yearbooks are on sale until May 25 for $55.  This is your last chance to order!

Last night FFA members went to Parkland and competed in the Ag Mechanics competition. As a team, they were 2nd overall. Kaleb Southern was 1st in Welding, Lillian Enger was 1st in Carpentry, Gavin Friel was 2nd in Electricity, and Drake Hardesty was 3rd in Ag-Power. Kaleb and Lily are both advancing to State next Thursday in their respective areas!

Congrats to the varsity 4x100 team for breaking their own school record last night at Heyworth with a FAST time of 53.97 placing first.  Congrats to Alexis Wike for placing first in the HJ and 200.  The 4x800 team of Gracie Shaffer, Anna Place, Indra Nolan and Jasmine Petmecky shaved 20 seconds off their PR time placing 3rd.  Phoebe Reynolds placed 1st in the TJ and 2nd in the 100.  Cassie Zimmerman PR'd in the discus.  Other notables include Gracie Shaffer placing 3rd in the 300Ih; Indra Nolan placing 3rd in the 1600 while Alexis Winstead placed 5th in the HJ and Alissa Edwards also placing 5th in the LJ.  Way to go lady knights track and field! 

TONIGHT is a Lady Knights Softball game at 4:30 at HOME vs. GCMS.  Good Luck Lady Knights!
