Congratulations to the April Athletes of the month:

Baseball-Austin Wike- Austin is a natural leader, and has a high baseball IQ. The kid is an absolute animal!!

Softball-   Lexi Wike.  While excelling at track all month (enter some track stat stuff!!) Lexi has also excelled in softball and claimed several conference leading stats all season in softball.  Currently Lexi is #2 in the conference in batting ave at .634, #2 for On base percentage with .659, and #2 in Stolen Bases with 15.  Lexi also displays determination, drive and work ethic in all she does including softball and shows it every game!

Boys Track-Joey Cole-This is Joey's first year for Track and Field but he is already making a big impact.  Joey serves as a sprinter and thrower for the team, achieving Personal Records in nearly every meet in April.  His sprinting ability has been impressive with a great deal of improvement over a short time.  We look forward to seeing his accomplishments in the coming meets and over the next few years.

Girls Track-Phoebe Reynolds.  Phoebe has been a stalwart these past three years for the Blue Ridge girls track and field team.  Phoebe excels in the horizontal jumps (TJ and LJ) as well as her talent and speed on the track in the sprints.  Phoebe was a part of the school record setting 4x100 team and occasionally splits time participating in the 100, 100HH and 200 events.  Phoebe is currently second on the team in team points accrued to date.    We continue to look to Phoebe to positively contribute to the program for the rest of this year and next.

Yearbooks are on sale until May 25 for $55.  This is your last chance to order!
