For Friday, April 28th   

 

Seniors: If you haven’t given Miss T pictures yet, please provide 2 baby pics (up to the age of 2), 2 growing up pics (2-18) and 2 senior pics as soon as possible.   The absolute last day pics can be taken by yearbook is Monday! 

 

Also Seniors …  Don’t forget - Library books are due back by Monday and all fees and fines are due to the office by May 16th.  All fees and fines after Monday must be paid in Cash or debit card.

 

Prom and Post Prom tickets will be sold during lunch in the Commons through TODAY!  Prom tickets are $20 each and Post Prom tickets are $10 each.  If you are not here during lunch, please see Mrs. Lagle.  Tickets must be purchased in advance!

 

STEM Club will be hosting their annual Coins for Creatures fundraiser to raise money for the World Wildlife Foundation. TODAY is the final day!  See the donation table at lunch to donate money to your favorite teacher's jar. The teacher with the most money in their jar by the end of the week will receive a pie to the face after school as well as all the proceeds going to the animal they sponsored! 

 

Thrive is hosting a Spring Fest TONIGHT on the Football field from 4 - 6 pm. All high school students are welcome to attend. There will be lawn games, tie dye, ice cream, and snacks! find a flyer in the school and scan the QR code to sign up or see Mr. Minteer or Mrs. Ringel for more information. 

 

Yearbooks are on sale until May 25th for $55.  This is your last chance to order!

The Lady Knights Softball team plays tonight at Arcola @ 4:30pm.  The team should be released today at 2:15 with bus time of 2:30.

It was a great night at the Ridgeview Invitational last night. We were short on participants but not on effort! Matt Schumacher led the team with 1st place finishes in the discus and shot. Matt managed a PR in shot with a throw just over 46’. Cole Pemble had a 1st place in the 200m Dash with a near school record run of 23.5 seconds. He also finished 2nd in the long jump. The boys 4x100 relay took 2nd place. The team was comprised of Joey Cole, Andrew Schumacher, Matt Schumacher and Cole Pemble. Joey Cole also threw shot for a PR of just over 38’. The team of 5 boys paced 3rd overall out of 10 teams! Way to go Knights!!

It was a great night for BRHS girls track and field last night at the Ridgeview Invite as the lady knights captured 2nd place overall out of 10 teams competing!  Alexis Wike captured two firsts in the 100 and 400 while placing 2nd in 200 and 3rd in the HJ.  Phoebe Reynolds placed 2nd in the LJ and TJ and placed 3rd in the 200.  The 4x100 team of Phoebe Reynolds, Alissa Edwards, Gracie Shaffer and Alexis Winstead captured 1st place. The 4x800 team of Gracie Shaffer, Anna Place, Indra Nolan and Jasmine Petmecky placed 2nd with an inspiring PR time. The 4x200 team of Gracie Shaffer, Alexis Winstead, Alissa Edwards, and Rylee Burnett also placed 2nd overall.  Other notables include a 2nd place finish in the 300IH by Gracie Shaffer with a PR time and a 2nd place finish by Alexis Winstead in the 100. Jasmine Petmecky placed 3rd in the 3200 as did Anna Place's 4th in the same event.  The lady knights ran, jumped and threw their hearts out.  Way to go lady knights track and field!
