9 Student Council members will be going over to Schneider this afternoon about 1:10pm and helping the 3rd graders make flower arrangements for Mother’s Day! Thank you Student Council members!
There will be a Senior Luncheon after graduation practice on 5/19. Exact details to come on location (need to be sure Farmers Cafe is willing) but please share the meal, drinks & tip are fully paid for by the class fund. Kids won't have to pay anything.
Football Cheerleading Tryouts will be next week May 16th and 18th from 4-5pm in the new gym. Please see Ms. Clayton with any questions!
Marching Band is planning for their upcoming competitive season in the fall and we are looking for some individuals interested in being a part of the color guard to play a part in that success. You do not have to have any skill, you do not have to have any prior experience, we would be impressed if you did, you do not have to know anything about marching or color guard to be a part of an incredibly
competitive team. Come try it out on May 15th from 3:30-5 with auditions on May 19th at 3:30. Can't make it to any of the dates but you're interested? Talk to
Ms. Meisner, Mr. Mitchell, or any color guard member- we will work it out for you to learn.
The Lady Knights nabbed the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Donovan on Wednesday. The game was tied at four with Blue Ridge Varsity Knights batting in the top of the sixth when Carmen Ellis tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Ellie Schlieper was the winning pitcher going seven innings, allowing four runs while striking out ten and walking zero. Cassie Zimmerman led the Lady Knights with two hits in three at bats. Carsyn Stiger led Blue Ridge Varsity Knights with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases. Next up conference match at home Friday against Okaw Valley!
