There will be a Senior luncheon after graduation practice on 5/19. Exact details to come on location (need to be sure Farmers Cafe is willing) but please share the meal, drinks & tip are fully paid for by the class fund. Kids won't have to pay anything.
Football Cheerleading Tryouts will be next week May 16th and 18th from 4-5pm in the new gym. Please see Ms. Clayton with any questions!
Marching Band is planning for their upcoming competitive season in the fall and we are looking for some individuals interested in being a part of the color guard to play a part in that success. You do not have to have any skill, you do not have to have any prior experience, we would be impressed if you did, you do not have to know anything about marching or color guard to be a part of an incredibly
competitive team. Come try it out on May 15th from 3:30-5 with auditions on May 19th at 3:30. Can't make it to any of the dates but you're interested? Talk to
Ms. Meisner, Mr. Mitchell, or any color guard member- we will work it out for you to learn.

Last night at the 18 team EPG class A girls track and field sectional. Alexis Wike placed 1st in the 100m, 2nd in the 200m and 3rd in HJ, qualifying for the class A state meet at EIU next Thursday in all three events! Gracie Shaffer just missed qualifying in the 300IH placing 3rd with a PR time of 52.59. Alexis Wike's night was not over, placing 3rd in the 400 with a PR time. The 4x100 team of Gracie Shaffer, Phoebe Reynolds, Alissa Edwards and Alexis Winstead placed a respectable 4th overall. The 4x800 team of Gracie Shaffer, Jasmine Petmecky, Indra Nolan and Anna Place placed 5th overall. Other notables include Phoebe Reynolds placing 5th in the TJ and Alexis Winstead placing 5th in the 100m. Special mention for PR's include Mady Wingert in the shot put, Indra Nolan in the discus, Rylee Burnett in the TJ and Mya Laidley in the 100HH as well as the 4x400 team of Alexis Winstead, Alissa Edwards, Indra Nolan, and Jasmine Petmecky. As a team the lady knights placed 5th overall. Great performances lady knights track and field and pride for the program last night. Way to go!
The Softball team plays at HOME vs Okaw Valley at 4:30 TONIGHT.
The Boys Baseball team plays at Midland @ 4:30 TONIGHT. Please release the team at 2:00 today for the bus.
