Saturday, Dec 9th is JV Scholastic Bowl tournament at Roanoke-Benson with a bus time of 6:45am. Good Luck Knights!
The Band and Chorus Winter concert will be on Tuesday, 12/12 at 7pm at the high school old gym.
Tonight the Boys and Girls Basketball teams play in both gyms starting at 5:30 against the Fisher Bunnies. The theme tonight will be WESTERN! Come and support your Blue Ridge Knights sports teams! Students wear Blue Ridge Knight wear or the theme wear and admission is $1 to see 4 games! The band will have concessions. Good luck Knights!
It was another productive night for Blue Ridge high school scholastic bowl as the varsity went 2-1 in the evening against some good competition while being a little short-handed. The JV continued their improvement going 2-0 in the evening. The varsity lost a back and forth contest to Tuscola 200-220 then found traction in the evening defeating Cerro Gordo 210-110 and while rounding out the evening defeating Tri-Point by a score of 280-150. The now 14-7 varsity was led in toss-ups by AJ Johnson with 17 followed by Broden Soliday with 4, Indra Nolan with 3, Devin Wrestler with 2 and Brenna Light with 1. The JV scored a season high 150 pts against Tuscola to win and survived a low scoring affair vs. Tri-Point to win by 20. Leading the 4-1 JV in toss-ups was Ivy Whitehouse and Elias Nolan with 4 each. Congratulations Knights!
