Each day this week for National FFA Week we will be doing a trivia question. To answer the question you need to email blueridgeffa@blueridge18.org. Everyone that responds will get a point towards the gift card drawing with the first person to email getting double points. The more points you earn during the week by participating, the more chances you get in the drawing. And yes teachers you are invited to participate and be in the drawing as well!   Yesterday’s FFA question of the day was: What are the 5 Degrees FFA Members can receive?  The answer from yesterday's is: Discovery, Greenhand, Chapter, State, and American. Lexi Winstead was the first to email in! Congratulations. Today’s question is:  Where is the Illinois FFA Headquarters located at?  Be the first to email and win a prize!  The answer will be given tomorrow!  Happy FFA Week!

It was a great day for the varsity scholastic bowl team in the LPC tourney on Monday at Oakland.  The 2nd seeded Knights made a clean sweep in pool play defeating Arcola 270-80, Cerro Gordo 310-100, Villa Grove260-140, Tri-County 310-0 and finally Sullivan 270-210 to advance to the championship match.  In that championship match the Knights played well but came up short to Cumberland 200-300 to capture 2nd place out of 13 LPC teams competing.  Leading the Knights in toss-ups was AJ Johnson with 41 followed by Broden Soliday and Indra Nolan with 8 each; Elias Nolan with 6 and Addison Warsaw with 2 to round out the scoring.  Go knights scholastic bowl!
