Please remember to renew your overdue library books with Mrs. Raines in the library.

Environmental Science students are hosting a mural competition to put student artwork on the halls of Blue Ridge High School. Each piece of artwork will be displayed proudly in the commons during lunch today through Thursday. Each cent that you donate counts as a vote for your favorite mural. Check your pockets, your couch cushions, and your wallets for coins or bills to use as votes. The winner will be announced on Friday. Any money collected will be donated to the local farmers market to support sustainable living.

The Spring high school Fine Arts Expo will be held TOMORROW night starting at 6pm.  We will showcase Drama, Art and Band/Chorus students and some of their work. Also that night the HS library will be having a used book sale from 4pm – 7pm in the HS library.  Please come and see what they have for sale!

Student council is hosting a St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun Costume Contest Thursday, March 14th. Dress like a leprechaun, and vote during lunch! The first place winner will receive a $40 cash prize, and the title of Head Leprechaun for the remainder of the school year. 2nd place will receive a Subway gift card.  Vote by 2pm and the winner will be announced by the end of the school day.  Voting will be through a google form in your counseling google classroom. Email Romero Fernandez if you have questions. 

Attention Spring sports participants, please sign up for 8 to 18.  Please check with Mrs. Hoffman or your coach, if you don’t know if you are signed up.

 

Day Camp Leaders are needed this summer at Allerton Park in Monticello.  You must be 16 and have a valid driver’s license to apply.  Forms are in the office.

 

The Farmer City pool is looking for workers this summer.  Applications are in the office.

 Varsity Baseball starts today away at Cornerstone at 4:30pm. Please release the Baseball team at 2:35 for their bus.

Varsity Softball also begins today at home at Weedman park vs. Donovan at 4:30pm. Good luck Knights!
